Personal note from Isaac Trimble

My father, uncle, and grandfather have all made Native American flutes. Now it is my time. I have recently had the flute shop passed on to me. It is a great generational honor. Many of you have heard my music and have seen the flutes I have made. I am so happy to live this life, to continue in this way. Although I am sad that some of the greatest flute makers I know in my family have retired, I will do my best to carry on the family tradition of making flutes. Thank all of you for your support and love throughout the years. Growing up in the flute shop has given me many good memories of my dad and uncle. I still feel the magic of flutes every time I walk in. I am surrounded by all the old wood working tools and passed on hand made tools. I hope to bring the knowledge and wisdom given to me through the generations to make our family flute.
